DETAILS:
The Geospatial Solutions Developer Senior II will use development programs to plan, construct,
implement, and document Geographic Information System (GIS) tools and data components. This
role involves understanding geospatial technology concepts and their integration with other
technology and scientific disciplines.
Responsibilities include:
Evaluating and addressing user requests for new or modified programming.
Consulting with stakeholders to determine current and future business needs.
Capturing requirements using industry-standard GIS frameworks and tools.
Converting project specifications into detailed coding instructions for computer systems.
Delivering high-quality GIS solutions in an agile environment.
This individual will work closely with teams and business partners, actively participating in solution
design meetings and implementing GIS technologies to meet business objectives. They are
expected to be collaborative, self-motivated, and adept at handling multiple projects while meeting
stakeholder expectations.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
5–8 years of experience in GIS-related technologies, including:
GIS Skills:
o ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Pro SDK, ArcGIS Desktop (.NET), ArcGIS Enterprise Geodatabase
(Oracle).
o Python scripting for geoprocessing.
o Creating, editing, and maintaining spatial data layers.
Programming Skills:
o C#, JavaScript API, .NET, and Spring Boot.
Database and Integration:
o Oracle 19c, Arc Spatial Database Engine (SDE), and geodatabase design.
o Integration of tabular data systems with spatial data.
Web and Application Design:
o GIS web mapping applications, GIS web services, and user interfaces using ArcServer.
